What??? Are you the only person important enough?

Why is it that some people think that the world revolves around them and only them? Does everything always happen to them only. Some people are just such pathetic hypocrites that they offend everyone they meet. Even if the other person is trying to be really nice to them and all. They just have to keep on acting like that whatever they do is important and if they dont approve of anything others does, it should not be done. I just fucking hate such people who are such fucking bitches and assholes. Some of them even tend to start giving you advice on love as if they are the ones who choose which people you fall in love or not. I mean that is a bit too far isn't it. Why should they have to interfere with other people's life. Just today i was told of by such a person because I told her that i had a crush on her friend. This girl just started cringing and whining and started telling me that I shouldn't do it because I may hurt the girl i have a crush on. i mean whats with that? Is she the one who can tell which person will be good for her friend or not. Is she the one who makes all the decisions in other people's life? I dont get it man. Its just fucking bull crap. the world should be rid of such people and I REALLY mean it.

Was that what it sounded like?

Misinterpretation. Its something we all have trouble with. Just today i got into a humiliating situation for misinterpretating a sentence. We all have faced such things. But isn't it just the worst feeling when you are humiliated by such things. Your face completely burns up and you turn red in the face. You try to make fun of the situation while deep down inside you are burning with humiliation. Such things would never happen if people are more explanative with what they say. Then no one would have to face humiliation by misinterpretation.

Lets face it. Our country is going down day by day. With all this political stuff going around, one might think that it is inevitable. But i am not referring to the political stuff. What i am trying to get across to all people is far more sinister. The rate at which these things happen is appalling. peoples' lives are being destroyed by such abhoring things. What i am talking about is the number of rape and abuse cases which are happening day after day.
Rape cases and abuse cases are fast becoming the norm in our society. Stepfathers raping their stepdaughters. Brothers raping sisters. A family member raping a child. A young child being abused by groups of men. These are some of the cases which are happening in the maldives. The sad thing is that most of these cases are not being reported to the local authorities. Why, you might say. Sometimes its because of the family trying to preserve their family name. Parents are hushing up such stuff as not to ruin their own reputation and all these times they do not realise the psychological damage the victim is suffering. Sometimes even the victims themselves are too frightened to tell any one because they think that they will be ridiculed and shunned by the society. Or maybe they are not telling because of fear for their lives. Their tormentors may be threatning to harm them or their family if they tell any one. By keeping such things under wraps the whole life of the victims are destroyed. Their self esteem is shattered and they no longer have any self confidence. They are more susceptible to such attacks from different people as they would feel that they themselves are to be used. Basically they just give up on life.
Sad to say, even the few cases which are reported does not go in the favor of the victim. The victim is exposed to other people and this changes peoples opinion about the victim. People start calling them sluts or bitches or whores. The abuser may walk free just because that person has a few friends at high places in the government. All of this mess is caused by corruption within the government. When such incidents are reported it is usually the victim who gets blamed and who has to hide in shame. i personally know of many such incidents where this has happened.
What happens to the victims??? Do they just disappear off the face of the earth? No, they just continue on with their lives. But they dont live their life the way they did previously. What happens to most is that they become what people say that they are. They turn around and become sluts or whores. They peddle their bodies for a a measly few hundred ruffiya. They are forced into such things as they think that most people won't take notice of them and such.
Seeing that there is absolutely no facilities available for such victims to seek help from, i cannot see a day in the near future in which this horrible events of life is eradicated. But if we all work together and help out the victims i know we can do it. Why isn't the government funding the operation of an anonymous service for rape or abuse victims which can actually help the victims seek justice? The money that is going in to the pockets of high ranking officials can be laid to good use by funding such operations. But until corruption is greatly reduced in the government, i can't see a day in which this is going to come true.........

Anarchy at home

What the heck is wrong with this country? Life is being treated like shit and the people are starting to mistrust each other. Where is the unity that was there once within the community? Riots are being carried out and everyone is at each others throats. I mean there are more peaceful ways to do things. Proper ways. I know that some people will think that there is no other way. But c'mon people let us atleast try. I know that there are people out there who agrees with my views. Let us hope that we can find a better way to do this.
